Flight over Julian Alps
November 24, 2009 by Luka
Julian Alps is one of my favourite places in Slovenia. The scenery is extremely beautiful at all times of the year and I’ve already spent a lot of time there photographing. This October I had an opportunity to experience this beauty from totally different perspective – from the air. As a part of the Autumn colours photo tour run by my company Adriatic2Alps (the website is being renovated) we flew two times; from the Lesce airport and from Bovec. On the first flight we were three photographers on board, Mary, Ana and myself.
Zasip village near Lake Bled.
Autumn colours of the Northern Julian Alps.
Lake Bled island.
The new Gorenjska highway.
Mount Krn above the Soca river valley. See this post for more photos.
A view to the south of Mt. Krn.
Rodica and Crna Prst ridge.
Zajamniki pasture at Pokljuka plateau.
Mighty Triglav – the highest peak of Slovenia.
Martin – an experienced pilot that took us for a ride above the Alps.

This blog is about my two greatest passions; photography and travelling. I want to share my experiences with as many people as possible. If you like this place, leave me a comment and show it to your friends as well! Enjoy!

nice as always!
