Make sure you negotiate for everything: boat rental, guide, cook, food, entry fees. Its better to leave shopping of the food to the cook, you can tell him if you have special requirements and he can buy all necessary things while you are arrangince entrance allowance at Park HQ. Also make sure your guide speaks good english and he undestands what you want to do. I can recommend you our guide Rudy +6281349163970, forestguide07(AT)yahoo.com. Fyi, I bought my ticket for Jakarta-Banjarmasin-Jakarta flight next week only IDR 614.000. It's quite cheap. Try citilink airlines, it's part of garuda airlines with affordable price. Awesome..
